      High School Struggles

Struggles that our Christian teens face in high school

Christian high schoolers face unique struggles as they navigate the challenges of adolescence while striving to live out their faith. Here are some common struggles that Christian high schoolers face:

      1. Peer pressure: High school is a time when teens are exploring their identities and seeking to fit in with their peers. This can lead to pressure to conform to social norms that may conflict with Christian values.
      2. Temptation: High schoolers are often exposed to drugs, alcohol, and sexual temptation. Christian teens may feel torn between their desire to fit in with their peers and their commitment to living a moral and faithful life.
      3. Doubts and questions: As high schoolers mature intellectually, they may begin to question their faith and wonder about the existence of God and the truth of the Bible.
      4. Balancing faith and academics: High schoolers are under pressure to excel academically, participate in extracurricular activities, and prepare for college. It can be difficult to balance these demands with a commitment to attending church, reading the Bible, and staying involved in Christian community.
      5. Social media: Social media can be a source of pressure and anxiety for high schoolers, who may feel compelled to present a perfect image of themselves to the world. Social media can also expose teens to negative influences and messages that conflict with Christian values.

Despite these struggles, Christian high schoolers have there sources and support they need to thrive. They can turn to their faith, their families, and their church communities for guidance and support. They can also seek out positive influences and role models who share their values and can help them navigate the challenges of adolescence.

It's important for Christian high schoolers to remember that they are not alone in their struggles. Many others have faced similar challenges and have come out stronger and more faithful as a result. With prayer, perseverance, and a commitment to living out their faith, Christian high schoolers can overcome their struggles and emerge as strong, confident, and faithful young adults.
