Being young can be an exciting and challenging time. Young teens are constantly trying to find their place in the world and figure out who they are. Unfortunately, many young people struggle with feelings of inadequacy and worthlessness. They feel like they are not good enough or that they don't measure up to the expectations of others. However, it's important to remember that being young does not mean that you are not worthy.
Each of us has inherent worth and value simply by being alive. We do not have to earn our worth or prove ourselves to anyone. We are worthy simply because we exist. It's important to remember this truth, especially when we are faced with challenging situations or difficult circumstances.
As young people, we often compare ourselves to others and feel like we don't measure up. We look at social media, television, and magazines, and see images of perfect bodies, perfect lives, and perfect relationships. However, it's important to remember that these images are often staged and edited. They do not reflect the reality of everyday life.
We should strive to be the best version of ourselves, but we should also accept ourselves for who we are. We should embrace our strengths and weaknesses and learn to love ourselves just as we are. We should not base our self-worth on the opinions of others or on external circumstances.
As Christians, we can find our worth and value in our relationship with God. We are children of God, created in His image and loved unconditionally. God does not judge us based on our outward appearance or our accomplishments. He loves us simply because we are His children.
Let us remember that we are YOUNG AND WORTHY, and that God has a plan and purpose for each of our lives. This is our core message to every teen that walks in our doors, we want every person to feel Gods love and find their self-worth in His word and in HIM.
